CAO... CHANGE OF MIND?

CHANGE OF MIND TIME – 3RD MAY to 1ST JULY
At the beginning of May, you will be able to register on-line a change of course choices, free of charge should you so wish.

  • If you change online (www.cao.ie) and have supplied an email address, an acknowledgement will also be sent to that email address.
  • There is no fee for using the Change of Mind facility.

Subject to the exceptions and restrictions mentioned below, you may change course choices (without fee) as often as you wish, up to 17:15 on the 1st July.

If you submit a Change of Mind, it cancels and supersedes all the previous course choices in any category in which changes are made. However, choices in the two categories (Level 8 and Level 7/6) are considered to be completely separate from each other for this purpose - e.g. a change of Level 8 course choices will not affect Level 7/6 choices.

Restricted-Application Courses which are added for the first time via a Change of Mind are invalid choices and will not be considered.

Statement of Application Record: You will soon receive your statement of application record from the CAO. Please do not assume that everything on the application record is correct. If there are any errors or omissions you should notify CAO immediately.

UCD UNILIFE SUMMER SCHOOL- JUNE 2010 – 8/9/10/11th.
Seize the opportunity to experience university life with UCD’s UniLife Summer School for
secondary school students entering 6th Year in September 2010.
Attend real lectures and tutorials, given by some of UCD’s top academic staff. Learn about further study and career opportunities after your undergraduate degree. Find out how UCD graduates succeeded in the real world, and make use of UCD’s world-class teaching and learning facilities.

UCD UniLife Summer School is aimed at students nearing the end of their second-level education, who know what discipline they want to pursue at university but don’t yet know what path to take through their degree.
For example, your heart may be set on Science, but you may be caught between Botany or Physics, Biochemistry or Zoology. UCD UniLife will help you finalise your decision by giving you hands-on experience with your discipline of choice.
